About Quatre Jeudis Productions

documentaries that are clearly Canadian, yet capable of inspiring a global audience.
His fourth film, “Outremont and the Hasidim” was produced in collaboration with . It aired in the spring of 2020. This documentary explores the growing tensions between the majority of French-speaking residents of Outremont, a well-to-do Montréal neighbourhood, and the “Hasidim” or ultra-Orthodox Jews who, settled in the area over 70 years ago. How far are their Québécois neighbours willing to go to reasonably accommodate the Hasidim and their unique
traditions?
